Fall into your purpose

Finding your life purpose through studying the Bible.

Have you ever wondered what is my purpose in life? Why am I here in this family, job or relationship? Is there more I could be doing? If you ever asked yourself any of these questions, it is mostly likely because you are in search of your life’s purpose. In this article, we will discuss how to find your purpose through studying the scriptures of the Bible.

“But seek ye first the kingdom of GOD, and HIS righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you." Matthew 6:33 KJV

What is your purpose?

We were meant to live for so much more than just working a 9 to 5 hours at job or being in relationships. Your life has a purpose. When GOD created you, He placed His purpose inside of you. GOD has a plan for your life. This is why you long for more and are never satisfied in life. You may find yourself feeling frustrated and overwhelmed or bored with the mundane task of everyday life. This is confirmation that your purpose is calling you to step into and pursue the goals necessary for you to succeed.

“For thou art my hope, O Lord GOD: thou art my trust from my youth.” Psalm 71:5 KJV

Release the distractions and mistakes of the past from your mind. Use the past as an opportunity to learn and grow. However, resist the temptation to remain in a negative mind frame of failure. Although, if you legitimately lost some things, this does not mean you are a failure. Take the perspective of all things working together for your good. As in Romans 8:28, states, “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love GOD, to them who are the called according to His purpose.” ‭‭Romans‬ ‭8‬:‭28‬ ‭KJV‬‬. In spite of when things seem to have taken a turn for the worst, trust GOD has a plan and purpose for your life. And His plans are to prosper you and give you an expected end which is good and not evil.

"When GOD created you, He placed His purpose inside of you."

Define Your Purpose

It is essential for you to define your own image of success. The definition of purpose is, “the reason for which something is done or created or for which something exists.” According to the Oxford Language online dictionary. While on the path to discovering your purpose in GOD, refrain from using the mold of how others think your life should be going. Oftentimes, we hold the opinions of those we are in close relationships to in high esteem.

However, the opinions of others will never triumph over the voice of GOD. Their perspective may be coming from a positive outlook on your life. In the defining phase of you discovering your purpose, search inwardly more than outwardly. When you go within yourself to commune with GOD, it will muffle the opinions of others and provide you with clarity. Your purpose will become clear. Therefore, you need to seek God to truly find your life’s purpose.
