During the holiday season, it can be easy to get distracted by the bright lights and colorful decorations. Your focus is on having the most festive and trendy decorations. You are constantly bombarded with enticements to overspend and over-give. There is pressure to display vast gifts with matching outfits in front of the Christmas tree. The allure of the glitz and glam of the holiday festivities can drown out the true purpose of celebrating.

Focus on Your
Faith
Create valuable memories with the people you love.
It is important to walk by faith during the holidays. It is easy to become distracted by the commercialization of consumerism. You are bombarded everywhere with sales and deals. You can drift away with wanting to buy the biggest gift or take the best picture for social media. Focusing on your faith and what you believe during the holidays will ensure you are creating valuable memories with the people you love.

What do you Believe?
You may struggle with increased pressure during the holidays because the idealized focus is on how much you can spend. Understand GOD wants to be involved in every area of your life. Including how you celebrate the holidays. Pray and ask HOLY SPIRIT for the direction and discernment on what and how to celebrate. Seek GOD for direction on celebrations. Proverbs 3 states to trust in the LORD with all your heart and to lean not unto your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge HIM and HE shall direct your paths.
Make your traditions centered around your faith. Do not be afraid to create new traditions that honor your faith in GOD.
